Using the Tipoff agent
A ~350-word help-center article explaining how to open and use the Tipoff right-side agent, its page/record awareness, its action previews, and its permission boundaries.
The Tipoff agent is a chat panel that lives on the right side of every screen. It's the fastest way to get work done without hunting through menus: ask it to find signals, tier a list, enrich contacts, or push accounts to a connected tool, and it does the work in context. Because it can see where you are and what you've selected, you rarely have to explain yourself twice.
Opening the agent
- Click the agent icon in the top-right corner of any page, or use the keyboard shortcut shown on hover.
- Type your request in plain language, for example "tier these accounts against my ICP" or "show me hiring signals from this week."
- Press Enter. The panel stays docked as you move between pages, so your conversation follows you.
It knows your page and your selection
The agent reads the context you're already working in. If you're viewing an account, a signal feed, or a saved list, it uses that as the subject of your request. If you've checked a few records, it acts on exactly those. This means you can say "enrich the selected contacts" or "add these to my Slack digest" without pasting names or IDs.
It previews before it acts
Anything that spends Tipoff credits, sends data to a connected tool, or changes your records is treated as a medium- or high-risk action. For those, the agent shows you a preview first: what it will do, which records are affected, and the estimated credit cost. Nothing runs until you approve it. Low-risk, read-only requests (like searching or summarizing) run immediately.
It stays inside your permissions
The agent can only do what your role and connections already allow. It won't reach into HubSpot, Pipedrive, Prosp, Instantly, Slack, or Zapier unless that integration is connected and you have access. If a request exceeds your permissions, the agent tells you why instead of working around it. You stay in control of every write and every send.
