Tuning your Brain
Review your workspace Brain, propose a precise edit, and understand who can apply or restore shared knowledge.
Brain is the workspace's shared description of the business, buyers and buying clues. Changes affect more than your own view, so make the intended change explicit.
Open Brain
Members, admins and owners can open Brain. Its starting sections ask What you sell, Who to find, and What to notice. Review existing answers and source information before editing. Conversation users (viewers) use their permitted read-only pages or Chat; the Brain editor is not part of their navigation.
Propose or apply
Members have permission to propose Brain changes. A proposal is not an applied change: it needs review by someone allowed to apply it.
Applying a Brain edit requires an admin or owner with workspace-settings permission. Members can propose changes, but cannot apply them, even with a legacy Brain-management grant. The guide's job-role picker does not change your workspace role.
Use the control offered for your permission level. Describe the section and intended correction, check the proposed difference, and read the result before assuming the shared Brain changed.
Restore with care
Brain history lists recovery points with section, author, note and time. Restoring requires the same admin or owner role and workspace-settings permission. A user without it can review the history and ask an authorized person to restore.
Do not assume that saving, proposing or restoring a section has already rescored every account or updated an external system. Check the relevant record or operation separately. See Roles and permissions.
