Solo founder job · Recorded synthetic test

Give TipOff an expansion goal.
Get the decision back.

For a founder who owns customer relationships, the useful job is deciding whether a current customer's new team warrants an expansion conversation. In this recorded test, TipOff checks existing records, saves one provisional opportunity and a weekly internal review schedule, then brings back the account decision. The tenant is synthetic; no customer was contacted.

The request

“Work on customer expansion this week. Check our existing records and relationship history, choose one useful next step, do the internal work you can do without spending or contacting anyone, and bring me only the decision that needs my judgment.”

This demo treats the account owner as a solo founder. The mandate allows internal context reading and work preparation, with no spend or external action. The request text was mapped to the structured input below by the test; no live model parsed it.

Selected source inputs

  • Harbor Health Demo is in a native TipOff customer list
  • Dated signal: Opened a new clinical operations team
  • Team note: Account owner says the new team is reviewing its workflow.
  • Salesforce history: one logged outbound call and one closed-won record. Neither proves a conversation, buying reason or delivered result.

Recorded update

I found one customer expansion candidate: Harbor Health Demo. I reviewed its saved relationship history, recorded the provisional opportunity, and scheduled another internal review. I need the account owner to confirm the customer's current need and what they bought before a proposal or outreach.

Work recorded in the test

  • charter saved
  • internal preparation mandate saved
  • provisional review and opportunity saved
  • weekly review schedule activated

Readback: 1 provisional opportunity, 1 saved review, 4 command receipts, and an active 7-day review schedule. The scheduled review has not run.

Execution boundary: 0 provider calls, 0 credits spent, 0 messages sent, and 0 verified business outcomes.

Why this customer

A known customer has recent evidence (2026-09-28): Opened a new clinical operations team The stored history contains outbound call (salesforce) and Closed-won opportunity (salesforce). Relationship warmth remains unknown.

Next step prepared: Ask the account owner what the prior won deal covered and whether the new team has the same unresolved need. If confirmed, prepare a scoped expansion conversation; keep this customer out of acquisition outreach.

What this test prepares for the founder

One reviewable brief brings together the selected customer, dated evidence, a provisional next step and the unanswered business questions. Whether it leads to an expansion conversation is unverified.

One decision for the founder

What did this customer buy, which outcomes have they actually achieved, and what unresolved need makes expansion useful now?

Changes whether to propose expansion, resolve a service issue, or wait. TipOff recorded buying reasons as unknown and customer proof as unknown; it did not turn a logged call into a conversation or a won-deal status into an outcome claim.

How this was tested

The repeatable test runs the Employee loader, assessment and review service against synthetic stored records. It saves the charter, mandate, review and schedule through the actual operating-state SQL, then reads them back. Reproduce it with npm run demo:record.

Synthetic stored records. The displayed natural-language request was translated into the shown structured goal and mandate by the test, not parsed by a live model. The update is formatted from the tested structured output. The CRM activity only proves a logged outbound call, not a conversation. Salesforce's closed-at mirror field is LastModifiedDate, not a verified contract date. The deal status does not explain what was bought or delivered. The scheduled review has not run. No live provider, customer reply, external action or business outcome was tested. The employee workspace remains a limited pilot.
